According to The Sun, Love Island bosses have set eyes on blonde bombshell Molly Marsh because it won’t be her first brush with TV fame. The star comes from a showbiz family as her mother Janet has appeared in minor roles in Coronation Street first starting in 2005 and then again in 2008 and 2009. A source said:
She [Molly] is a star on the rise and comes from a showbiz family — her mum Janet even had small roles on Coronation Street and Still Open All Hours.
The blonde beauty is a social media influencer who boasts 25.9k followers on Instagram already. She frequently shares her lifestyle and fashion with her followers along with glimpses of her travel and fitness routine. How did Molly Marsh become a potential Love Island contestant?
Reportedly, the 24-year-old had eagerly expressed her interest to be on Love Island - where contestants earn money in various ways. The social media star was invited to take a tour of the luxurious Winter Love Island villa in January when she caught producers’ eyes. The source revealed:
Molly was scouted after visiting the villa in South Africa earlier this year.
She was on the tour as an invited guest when she caught the eyes of producers.
They added:
Molly made it clear she would love to be a part of Love Island and she was told to audition. After going through the process, she’s now a shoo-in to fly to Majorca later this month.
