The Lord of the Ringsfranchise originally based on a multi book series by J.R.R Tolkien has made a return to the big screen via the new Amazon Studios produced show,The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The hit series which premiered on September 2 and has been rumoured to be the most expensive TV series ever to produce, already has 8 episodes confirmed by the studio giant.

Watch Rings of Power with Amazon Prime Video
The series which is produced by Amazon Studios is available to watch via paid subscription or free trial when you sign up for an Amazon Prime account. The good news is Amazon Prime gives new users a 30-day free trial that includes all the Prime member benefits. You can then then use the subscription to access the thousands of shows, movies and documentaries on the Prime Video platform. If you start now you might be able to catch all the Rings of Powerepisodes just time for the finale slated for October 14, 2022.

Since the Lord of the Rings franchise were originally based on books by J.R.R Tolkien, if you’re a reader the books are available to stream on with an Audible account membership. Will there be a Season 2?
In an interview with RadioTimes.com, the Rings of Power showrunner and executive producer J.D. Payne revealed that filming for season 2 is already in progress. In the interview, Payne said:
We've written our drafts [for season 2]. We are a couple of weeks away from starting production.
Amazon having invested over $450 million US into the show, is sure to keep production coming. The studio which already ordered 5 seasons has big plans in store for fans and viewers everywhere so we will have to wait and see.
