Kathryn Beaumont was 10 years old in 1951 when she became the model of the cartoon Alice in Wonderland. Created by Disney, the team working on the project needed a real actress for inspiration and to bring scenes from the cartoon to life. As a result, the little girl dressed up as a famous heroine and even did the voicing for the film. In the black and white photos, we can see her filming scenes with her head upside down, so that the professionals could see what that would look like in drawings.

She also dubbed Wendy in Peter Pan
Kathryn Beaumont explained:
At Disney, the animators often use excerpts filmed by actors to guide them and inspire them for drawing each scene. There is no set, it’s just a blue background where they put lights and the camera and where I move differently, in relation to different parts of the story.
Now aged 77, the young girl also dubbed the voice of Wendy in Disney'sPeter Pan and put her stamp on video games.
