Sherif Lanre was kicked from the fifth series for accidentally kicking fellow contestant, Molly-Mae Hague in the groin before making derogatory comments about the incident to Tommy referring, referring to the blow as a “c**t p**t”.
Sherif hit out at unfair treatment after other islanders were thought to be breaking rules by using racist language without the same consequences; “[One islander] said it two or three times and he was not pulled aside even though the code forbids racist language”.
Moreover, it was suspected that Yewande also suffered in terms of a lack of air time on the show. One fan tweeted, “Yewande is not getting any airtime. Like this show isn’t enough racist and anti-diverse as it is”, and another chimed in to say, “All I’ve seen is unemployed Molly. Have some respect for me please! Where’s Yewande?”
Therefore many viewers were ready to slate the show when they fely the same was happening to villa ‘funny guy’, Ovie Soko. However it has now been revealed that the professional basketball player took time away from cameras to get to training outside the villa!
