Love Island is repeating history yet again by signing up the multi-lingual 25 years old lawyer Sharon Gaffka. Previously, Zara Holland, who won the Miss GB title in 2015, was signed up for the show in 2016. Zara ended up losing her Miss GB title for having sex on the show with islander Alex Bowen.

Who is Sharon Gaffka?
The multi-lingual lawyer beauty queen has a law degree from the University of London and speaks Indonesian and French. This Love Island's contestant was most recently associated with the Department for Transport, where she worked on the launch of a doomed Test and Trace system. Further, the model is also an advocate for equal rights for women’s menstrual hygiene.
Additionally, Sharon works as an influencer for a tampon brand that endeavours to fight ‘period poverty.’ The gorgeous beauty who is also the brand ambassador for the Young Women’s Trust has over 15,000 Instagramfollowers. With the revelation of the first contestant, a lot of excitement for this year’s love island is up in the air. The opening episode of last season had a viewership of 4.8 million. Considering Sharon’s status, she appears to be well equipped to deal with the limelight.
Moreover, the show producers have confirmed that this year’s islander will be given coaching in dealing with money matters and online trolling after a string of unfortunate tragedies for previous islanders.
