After losing their puppy Mr Chai to a sudden illness last week, Love Island 2018 runners-up Tommy Fury and Molly Mae Hague have moved out of the Manchester flat they’ve shared since last year. The couple were pictured leaving the luxury pad with a number of their belongings – including the Louis Vuitton dog carrier that was meant for Chai.

A transit van was also seen picking up more of Tommy and Molly Mae’s things. It’s not clear whether Tommy and Molly Mae have moved into a new home together or whether they are staying with family. They had reportedly been searching for a larger home together for a while.
Whilst moving house would usually have been documented on influencer Molly Mae’s socials, the 21-year-old has been taking a break from social media since Mr Chai’s death. After the initial Instagram statement revealing that he had passed away, Molly Mae and Tommy released a Youtube video explaining the autopsy results.
In the video, Molly Mae acknowledged fans’ concerns but insisted that they couldn’t have done anything to prevent Mr Chai’s death, saying:
Whilst we completely understand everyone's opinions about being shipped over from Russia, what you need to understand is that is not what made him die.
Since then, both Tommy and Molly Mae have been uncharacteristically silent on social media after they continued to receive harsh criticism from fans for importing Mr Chai from Russia. According to a source who spoke to The Sun:
Molly-Mae is taking a break to have time to herself for a few days.
