During his appearance on Sunday Brunch, Iain also discussed the process behind recording his voice overs for Love Island - revealing that producers often ban him from using his rudest jokes. The comedian told how he and fellow Scotsman Mark watch the full finalised episode the day the show is due to be aired before penning their jokes and comments - which then have to be vetted by show producers.
'Some of them they let us do – and some they say: “You obviously can’t say that.”’ Iain admitted. However, the Scottish pair do manage to get some more choice Scottish phrases in - because ‘London TV execs are like, “Oh, what a quaint phrase” [and] I’m like “That doesn’t mean that”.’
