The final dates have begun and there are now just a handful of episodes left of Love Island 2021 before this series' grand final on Monday 23rd August. With Winter Love Island not expected to return in 2022, fans look set to face another year's wait before we get any more villa action. While there was no reunion for Winter Love Island 2020, a show insider has confirmed that the Love Island reunion special will be returning this year. They told The Sun:
The reunion will be filmed after the final next week. The extra episode will give fans a glimpse of their favourite couples as they take on the outside world.
When is the Love Island 2021 reunion?
The air date for the Love Island 2021 reunion special has not yet been officially confirmed—but we reckon that it's most likely to go out next Sunday (29th August) if it follows previous series' patterns of airing the first Sunday after the final.
The Love Island 2019 reunion show took the form of a 'wrap party' and featured some toe curling moments as some of the series' most notable Islanders were reunited. There was plenty of awkwardness as Amy, Maura and Curtis all came face to face again and Molly-Mae confronted Anton about unfollowing her on Instagram.
