Wes Nelson and Megan Barton-Hanson went from being known as one of the muggiest couples in the villa to having one of the best-loved relationships of Love Island 2018. They lasted far longer than anyone expected - and were even still together when winners Dani and Jack had their first mini-breakup.

However, it couldn't last forever, and their relationship eventually fell apart as Wes competed on Dancing On Ice with stunning professional ice-dancer Vanessa Bauer. All the time that Wes had to spend in training with Vanessa apparently became too much for Megan and they announced their split at the end of January.
Shortly afterwards, in February, Wes insisted that 'Megan wasn’t jealous to the point she was going to end the relationship. There was just one time when she went off, but that was more a miscommunication, not jealousy.'
However, one of Wes' close pals has recently spoken out about what really went on between the reality TV couple - insisting that Megan's jealous rage was what led to the split.
The unnamed pal told The Sun that Megan 'seemed paranoid and accused Wes of flirting with Vanessa even though she genuinely isn’t his type, and they had no chemistry.'
