Netflix producer Toby Nowlan and his team wereattacked while filming the sequel to the platform hit Our Planet. As a reminder, Our Planet is a Netflix documentary, which, according to the platform 'reveals the natural beauty of our planet, but also the impact of climate change on all living creatures.'

Initially, Toby Nowlan wanted images of an albatross and was out at sea in an inflatable boat to capture underwater images. He recounts:
This 'v' of water came towards us and this tiger shark pounced on the boat and punched huge holes through it. The whole boat exploded.

The ordeal didn't end there:
We tried to get him away, but he just wouldn't listen. It was horrible. That's when the second shark attacked us.
Fortunately, the shore was only 800 meters away, and there were no casualties. But for everyone present, the shock was real, as Toby Nowlan testifies.
They were incredibly hungry, so it's possible that there wasn't enough natural food and they tried everything they could find in the water.
For another producer who was on the inflatable boat at the time of the incident, the scene seemed 'straight out of Jaws'.
