Two men testify about their encounter with the third kind

In an archive of the National Audiovisual Institute (INA), the farmer said:
I went home, I was leaving a meeting. Then I looked at my watch, it was 20 minutes to 10 in the evening. So I put down my moped, I open my door and when I close the windows, what do I see, this machine!
He continues his explanation:
A huge machine in the sky, very red, cylindrical, almost 4 meters high, it was almost over the trees! I saw it leave but I didn't see it land, it was seen in Belgium too!
Saucer and red cylinder
The latter even provided a small drawing of the UFO in question on a photograph of his field. It shows a kind of large, very long, red, rectangular cylindrical tube floating in the air, almost hidden behind a tree. Frightened and angry, he called on the authorities to take action on this threat:

According to the testimony of another man, he personally saw 'a device 10 metres in diameter, a sort of saucer around which three or four people were circling'.
It was in response to the upsurge in such reports that the public authorities founded Gepan, the Groupe d'études et d'informations sur les phénomènes aérospatiaux non identifiés, in 1977. This organisation was given the task of collecting all information from the public and coordinating the research with the various local police forces.
