With a new year comes new changes, and lots of uncertainty. It's no wonder people love to turn to seers and mystics who can give them an idea of what they can expect.

Strangely enough some seers, like the infamous French astrologer Nostradamus—who predicted the devastating heat wave in summer 2023, have been seeing what the future holds well past the time they were alive.
Another famous seer is Baba Vanga, who apparently predicted Princess Diana's death and the Chernobyl disaster.
However, there is a book, founded by an Irish seer, which is published with new predictions for each year and it is seldom talked about.
The Old Moore's Almanac
The Old Moore's Almanac was founded by an Irish seer Theophilus Moore in 1764. Back then it was called The Irish Merlin and it was only in the 1900s that it got the name we know today.
The Irish publication that has been around for 260 years and according to Irish Central it is the highest-circulated indigenous magazine in Ireland. However, it remains unclear as to who is editing and publishing the book today.
In 2023, the book mentioned that Russian leader Vladimir Putin's health would take center stage and also said that it would be the year of artificial intelligence. Chilling, isn't it?
So, what does it say we can expect in 2024?
Artificial intelligence
Once again, AI does take center stage as they have predicted that AI-generated art will sell for 'record prices' but also that AI could become conscious in the year to come.
Health concerns for politicians
The publication also mentions health warnings for a couple of big politicians including Joe Biden and Donald Trump. For Trump in specific, 2024 may not be such a great year as he has also been warned to be careful of an assassination.
Ireland's new Taoiseach
It has been predicted that Ireland will have a female Prime Minister, also known as a Taoiseach, in 2025. However, for this particular person 2024 may be a struggle. The Old Moore's Almanac has mentioned that she will be 'rather embattled in 2024'.
According to The Sun's Nicola Bardon, who also looked at the seer's predictions, polls could indicate the person in reference could be Irish opposition leader Mary Lou McDonald.
Earthquake in 2024
Unfortunately many of the predictions for 2024 are grim, including the possibility of an earthquake that will 'stretch across borders'.
2023 was a bad year in terms of natural disasters as many countries experienced record-breaking heat in the summer, as well as floods, and some countries have already had to deal with tragic earthquakes like Turkey, Syria, and Morocco.
If their foresight is accurate, the earthquakes will continue into 2024, although it is not specified when or which places will be affected.
Health and technology
Every year, technology evolves and 2024 will be no exception. We could start seeing electric planes and drone taxis. They have also predicted that humans could finally regrow limbs and organs thanks to regenerative medicine. We could also be making breakthroughs in age reversal technology as it will start to get highlighted in the news.
These are just a few of the many list of predictions made for 2024. To find out more, you can check out the book here.
