Steven is a 9-year-old boy who lives with his parents and brother in Norman, Oklahoma, United States. Three years ago, in August 2016, he was diagnosed with acute high-risk lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Just a few days after receiving the tragic news, Steven had to start chemotherapy treatment. It was the first day of many. Indeed, he had to take his chemo pill every day for 3 years, until last Saturday, when he took his last pill.
His mother, who was proud of and happy for her son, posted a photo of Steven next to all the empty bottles of meds he had to take on Facebook. She also shared a video of Steven crying tears of joy as he takes his last chemotherapy pill.
Ashley wrote her son a loving message of support on her social media profile as well:
You have never seen pure happiness till you’ve seen a 9-year-old little boy cry the most happiest tears ever to be cancer-free and take his last chemo treatment!! My baby took his last chemo crying with a smile on his face!!!! God blessed my family! Both my sons have a story to tell!!! Listen and you all will hear of them going further than the stars!!! ❤️🥰🙏🏽 This is one of the most proud moments I’ve ever lived!!
