Like many women her age, Jami Ledbetter thought she'd try out microblading: a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo. Her three daughters gifted her a Groupon voucher so she could have the procedure done.

Although their intentions were good, the whole experience went completely wrong. All she wanted was to have the shape of her eyebrows re-drawn, but the 42-year-old ended up with four eyebrows instead.
Jami told news outlet WDAF-TV about her ordeal:
I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. The impact it had on my confidence... It was hard.
Even worse, her boyfriend at the time disappeared after seeing the results of her microblading. To get her eyebrows back to "normal", the American woman had to spend $ 1000 for a tattoo artist to fix the botched procedure.
If you're tempted to try microblading, make sure the person performing the procedure is an eyebrow specialist for the best possible results!
