Dawn Gilliam and her husband from Indiana in the United States are still in shock after they recently gave birth to twins born in different months, years and even decades which is actually an incredibly rare occurrence.

Dawn and her husband, Jason Tello’s babies were born seven weeks early. Joslyn was born at 11:37 pm on 31st December 2019 while her brother, Jaxon DeWayne Mills was born 30 minutes later, on 1st January 2020.
“We talked about it would be great to have them born on different dates. But here we are with this surprise — different dates, different years,” dad Jason Tello told reporters Friday at a news conference in the hospital’s maternity ward.
Despite the fact they were only born 30 minutes apart, their birthdays will now forever be in different years and different decades as well.
On the other hand, the coincidences don’t end there. At the Ascension St Vincent Carmel hospital, Joslyn was the last baby to be born in 2019, and Jaxon was the first to be born in 2020.
“We’ve known for a while that she was going to be born first,” Gilliam said. “She’s been in position for most of the pregnancy. Of course, he was breech. So, it took a while for him to come.”
Both babies were born healthy and, as well as their parents, are inperfect health and are very happy. We bet these babies will continue to be full of surprises in the future.
