The dad spoke to Bored Panda claiming that he dresses to prove that clothes ‘have no gender’. Bryan’s OOTD’s have sent his Instagram account, @markbryan911, completely viral.
Mark’s Insta bio is short and sweet, claiming that he’s a happily married man who just enjoys the odd fashion statement:
I am just a straight, happily married guy that loves Porsche’s , beautiful women, and incorporating high heels and skirts into my daily wardrobe.
Bryan’s daily wardrobe incorporates a lot of midcalf length pencil skirts, mini skirts, stylish heels and pumps (from the brand Lost Ink) that would make any girl jealous.
The 61-year-old stated that he often prefers skirts to dresses because of their versatility:
I prefer skirts to dresses. Dresses don’t allow me to mix the genders. I prefer a ‘masculine’ look above the waist and a non-gendered look below the waist.
Bryan emphasises that his wardrobe choices are very much non-sexual and stem from dance practices with an old flame in college that regularly saw them both dancing inheels. From there the practice just became normal.
At 6ft tall, even without the heels, it is no doubt that Mark turns a few heads when he’s out and about. The stereotype destroying man likened his choice of dress to dying your hair green:
You look up and see this person, your mind tells you it’s a person with green hair, you think to yourself, ‘That’s odd or interesting,’ then you go back to do what you were doing and don’t give it another thought.
Mark’s wife and daughter often help him pick out his outfits, often wishing hey could borrow from his vast collection of heels.
Mark also gave out some advice for any men that are wanting to try out a new look:
If you are asking about heels, then I would say to start with a low heel and work your way up as your confidence gets higher.
Honestly, some of us girls could take on that nugget of wisdom too!
