You, at least once in your life, must have thought about what death feels like. What the body experiences before, during and after death is still largely a mystery. One of the few common theories is: as the body passes away, the spirit or soul of a human is detached from the body and continues to live on, in the afterlife.

Naturally, you would rarely find someone that has survived the experience of death and lived to provide evidence to these statements. However, this man might prove the exception to the rule.
Witnessing the unseen
Although it happened almost 40 years ago, it still leaves Scott Drummond astonished to this day. Now in his late sixties, Scott experienced something that anyone hardly lives to talk about. The then 28-years-old was admitted to hospital after dislocating his thumb in a skiing accident. He was supposed to have a routine surgery, nothing out of the ordinary. However, it was anything but that.
During the surgery, he suddenly heard the nurse scream ‘I killed him!’. Scott recounted that he saw each and every stitch that was sewn into his skin while he was under surgery. According to Mirror, he said:
I had the sensation of something going up my arm and across in to my heart, and the next thing I knew I was above my body looking down at the operation.
A divine meeting
Scott said in an interview thathe could feel the presence of another creature with him, who he believed to be a God. He was then slowly transported into a field of flowers, which is an unusual coincidence as Scott mentioned that he enjoyed doing yard work. Up until then, he could still feel the presence of another being however, as he was admiring the scenario, the presence disappeared.
He mentioned that astonishingly, he could see everything that he’s ever done in his life, and no matter if it was good or bad, he felt that he was ‘being judged’. However, all of this suddenly stopped when the mysterious presence told him:
It is not yet your time. You have more things yet to do
Scott’s ‘spirit’ then, reluctantly returned to his human body after being away for 20 minutes. This is not something that we see in our everyday life. So experiences like these remind us not to take life for granted.
