'They sabotaged me a little bit'
In this new interview, the young woman gave backstage insight into the Miss Universe 2023 election. The election took place on the night of Saturday, 18 November to Sunday, 19 November, 2023. And against all expectations, while she was THE favorite for several weeks before the contest, Diane Leyre didn't make it into the top 20. For the first time, it was Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, who took the crown. She follows R'Bonney Gabriel, Miss USA.
On the set of Touche Pas à Mon Poste, Diane Leyre made a number of revelations about the famous beauty pageant. So, when she was told by a man on stage that he felt she hadn't looked her best on stage, which was inappropriate, the young woman didn't hesitate to throw her weight around.

'It's an atrocity'
In fact, the make-up team allegedly did everything they could not to make Diane Leyre look her best. She claims:
What's certain is that I ended up with a burnt lock, the make-up completely messed up. I have a photo of my make-up, it's an atrocity.
She continued:
I had to start all over again 20 minutes before the set because my nanny came to me and said: 'Clearly, they've sabotaged you, you'll have to do it all over again'.
However, Miss France 2022 did not confirm that the Miss Universe contest was rigged.
