In the 40-second-long video clip, you can see a young woman making a kind, selfless gestureby helping a visually impaired citizen who was trying to cross the road to catch a bus.
The woman stops the bus when she realised the man wanted to catch it, and the driver waited as Supriya led him by the arm to the door of the bus and helped him on.
According to local media sources, Joy Alukkas, the head of the company where the young woman worked, heard of her gesture and visited his employee in the modest house she was renting with her family to congratulate her.
However, the story doesn’t end there. The next week, he summoned the young woman to the head office to give her a surprise that would change her life and her family’s life forever. Alkkas told the Hindustan Times:
I never thought it will be such a huge surprise. I was in tears as hundreds of workers of the group cheered me. It was a spontaneous act and I never thought this will fetch me so much of praise and love.

Joy Alukkas and his wife Jolly congratulated the worker, who had been at the company for three years, for her noble, selfless actand announced that they were going to give her a new housefor her, her husband and her two sons to move into.
