Everyone has an opinion
There were several harsh comments by social media users insulting the way she is parenting. One user stated:
It's disgusting to see how dark your daughter's skin is. Have you heard of suncream? How about you start using it before your kid looks 40 at 4.
Another person commented on the post calling Jordyn a 'horrible mother'.
Jordyn spoke to news.com.au, and revealed that the hateful comments and were very offensive:
There were people saying I was neglecting my child and opening her up to skin cancer. It’s very offensive
What was Jordyn's defence? She posted this:
My child's skin is beautiful, I take all necessary measures to ensure her skin is protected and I wake up every day striving to be the best mother possible. If you don't like my posts or our skin colour offends you please just unfollow.
The day after, Mrs Jones received a notification from Instagramstating that they removed her photo because it violated guidelines. Mrs Jones sent an email to Instagram asking how that happened. However, according to the guidelines online, 'Instagram may remove images that show nude or partially-nude children'.
I screenshotted the removal notification and put on my story. That’s when a handful of people got in touch and said they’d reported the photo. I was appalled and emailed the Instagram email but have not yet received a reply.
