Children's education is of the utmost importance to all parents. So much so that many mothers and fathers became their kids' full-time tutors during the COVID-19 lockdown. While some have been successful, it looks like this mother, who shared her embarrassment on social media, didn't quite get the memo.

With little to do and just a few virtual classes for kids to take (at best), in most cases, the grown-ups of the house have replaced kids' teachers and had to get creative.

And that's precisely what Twitter user @EmmaSmilesHolmes, who set out to do a science experiment with her 7-year-old and 9-year-old, did.

The woman challenged her kids to make a tube of toothpaste big enough for an elephant. To achieve this, the children had to create a chemical reaction, using hydrogen peroxide, yeast, and warm water.

The mother shared pictures of the experiment on her Twitter account and captioned it "Garden Science Lessons," and it went viral in no time.

Internet users were exceptionally quick to share the post because they thought these kids' innocent project was a sex toy. Come on, guys. Get your minds out of the gutter!
