Thomas Moore is an 8-year-old boy from Maryland in the United States who recently did something incredible. One day, Thomas saw a video about a young girl who had lost all of her hair as a result of chemotherapy treatment.

He was very moved by the video, especially since a lot of children with cancer aren't always diagnosed in time, and after discussing it with his mum, Thomas had an idea. The child decided to let his hair grow out so he could create wigs for children who had lost their hair because of cancer.
'He didn't set a time frame for how long he would grow his hair for, he just wanted it to be long enough to make the girl feel happy,' explained his aunt to Buzzfeed.
Thomas ended up growing his hair out for 2 whole years before he decided to cut it. The impressive amount of hair that the child had grown allowed them to create not one, but three wigs!
His story was shared by his aunt on Twitter and quickly went viral. Since then, his family has received lots of messages of love and support for young Thomas. What a lovely story!
