Peculiar name
On 12 September 1984, Sandra Williams, from Texas, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and she had theperfect name picked out—Rhoshandiatellyneshiaunneveshenk Koyaanisquatsiuth Williams. She wanted her child to have a name that was unlike any other, and she succeeded at doing just that.
However, weeks after Rhoshandiatellyneshiaunneveshenk was born, Sandra and her husband decided that it wasn’t good enough for their incredible daughter. So, to make it even more unforgettable, they took her already lengthy 32-letter name and made it a whopping 1,019 letters long! Hence, her first name went from being Rhoshandiatellyneshiaunneveshenk to:

Breaking the record
What’s the point of having such a long name that no one can pronounce? Well, her parents actually had another reason for giving her this name. They wanted it to be featured in the Guinness Book of World Records and no one was competing for the same title, so they got what they wanted. Sandra told Oprah in a 1997 interview:
I had to do something to break a Guinness World Record. I had to make sure that her name was going to be unique.
I didn't want her name to be like anybody elses.
Her name had to be different and I had to be in the Guinness book.
Luckily for her family and friends, Rhoshandiatellyneshiaunneveshenk does have a nickname that people usually call her by—Jamie.
It's been over a decade since her interview with Oprah first came out, and no one knows whether the now 38-year-old decided to keep her name as it is, or change it to something simpler.
