It's really no surprise that the anxiety caused by being locked up caused a lot of people to overeat. Plus, being on lockdown means our physical activity was greatly reduced, and for some, exercising at home was simply not an option.
But this young man really takes the cake! During the (almost) five months that we've all been in quarantine and on alert, he has gained 100 kg.
Zhou "N", who's just 26 years old, lives in the city of Wuhan, China. Although before the pandemic started, Zhou was already considerably heavy and suffered from reduced mobility, his drastic weight gain has landed him in the hospital.
It was the young man himself who called emergency services when he realized that he could no longer move and that his weight had peaked at 280 kg.
