The trio shares a surprising love story
Overall, it's a rather surprising story. Australian twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque have been sharing the same man for over nine years now. Aged 36, the two young women are engaged to Ben Byrne. A ménage à trois that seems to work perfectly.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the twins describe their very unusual romance. The pair argues they are very happy in their love life. Both claim that there has never been any jealousy between them and that their fiancé is able to handle and respect their bond:
[We're] never jealous, if he kisses Anna he will kiss me straight after and he never separates us.
He loves us the way we are. He doesn't mind that we dress alike, or our quirky habits. He's our best friend, he's a keeper.

They are embarking on an unusual project
Anna and Lucy explained that the relationship works so well simply because their partner understands the bond that unites the twins:
In the past we've had separate boyfriends and they didn't understand the bond and our closeness.
But Ben accepts us for who we are and everything is equal. Other relationships tried to separate us, but Ben treats us equally and there's no jealousy whatsoever.
The pair are now keen to have children. The twins would each like to have a child with Ben Byrne and want to give birth at the same time. To achieve this, they are planning to freeze their eggs and then use in vitro fertilization:
We're looking into IFV, even freezing our eggs at the same time. Who knows what the future holds, but we want to do it together.
It will be a challenge, but everything in our life is a challenge. We want to be together all the time.
