In a final and desperate attempt to save what was left of their rocky relationship, Viktoria Pustovitova, 29 and her boyfriend, 33 year-old Alexandr Kudlay, thought it wise to spend every moment together.

That was on Valentine’s Day. Fast forward to 123 days later and the couple are relieved to be going their separate ways.
They lived out this experiment on social media where they shared with their growing audience, how they were navigating their daily lives as a bonded (literally) couple.
From taking turns to use the bathroom, dressing up to shopping and working, the couple let their followers in on how they were coping.
Pustovitova had to quit her job as a beautician as clients were uncomfortable having her boyfriend by her side during appointments, according to the New York Post.
Together yet alone
The couple told Reuters they spent hours arguing everyday which helped them realise just how incompatible they were. Pustovitova said she felt so alone and lonely during the three-month period although Kudlay was right beside her the entire time.
We stayed together all day, I did not receive any attention from Alexandr because we were constantly together. He did not tell me: 'I miss you', while I would like to hear that.
On his part, Kudlay, whose proposal it was to be handcuffed together, said he had no regrets adding that the experiment had made it easier for him to understand the differences between them.
We are not on the same wavelength, we are totally different. She doesn’t respond well to my suggestions to keep doing what she likes to do alongside me.
World record holders
Their final break was televised on national television in Ukraine where the cuffs bonding them together were broken. Pustovitova yelped ‘hooray’ to being free again and told followers she intends spending time alone before jumping onto the dating scene again.
A representative from a Ukrainian record book, said no couple in the world had managed a similar feat.
Although apart, the two plan to get back together one last time to sell the handcuffs in an auction with proceeds going to charity.
