1. Fruit Purees
1/4 cup of fruit purees such as bananas or apple sauce can easily be substituted for an egg. Not to mention the sweetness can help you cut down on sugar!
2. Tofu
1/4 cup of silken tofu can also act as a dupe for an egg. Just make sure it's nicely blended.
3. Aquafaba
Every time you empty a can of chickpeas this liquid is likely to be wasted down the drain but did you know it can also be used as an egg replacement? Just 3 tablespoons of this liquid are the equivalent of one large egg.
4. Yoghurt
Yoghurt is a great egg replacement and it is also a probiotic so there's an extra health benefit. Just 1/4 cup replaces a large egg but it's best to use unsweetened, plain yoghurt as not to affect the flavour.
5. Ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
These seeds can be bought pre-ground at the grocery store and are super high in omega-3 fatty acids. Mix one tablespoon of the ground seeds with three tablespoons of water to equate to one large egg.
