The Lacura Healthy Glow Glycolic Tonic bears a striking resemblance to Pixi’s Glow Tonic. Not only does the Lacura version share the distinctive rose gold and green packaging, it also contains many of the same key ingredients, including 5% glycolic acid and soothing skincare favourite aloe vera.
The products certainly differ a lot when it comes to the price tag though, as a 250ml bottle of Pixi’s Glow Tonic will set you back £18 whereas a 250ml bottle of the Lacura Glow Glycolic Tonic on sale at Aldi will cost you just £3.99. But is the dupe as good as the original designer product?
Is Lacura Healthy Glow Glycolic Tonic good?
The Lacura Healthy Glow Glycolic Tonic is one of Aldi’s most popular beauty dupes. It gets five-star reviews on their site with one shopper noting:
This should be sold all year round... I have used Liz Earle's toner and her other products for many years but this toner is better and considerably cheaper.

Aldi are also selling a Lacura Acacia Collagen Toner which is a dupe of another Pixi tonic. This product promises to cleanse and nourish your skin, open up your pores and aid in the removal of grime and dirt. Like the Glycolic Tonic it’s priced at £3.99 but you’ll have to be lucky enough to find it in store as it’s sold out online.
