Apply your perfume on strategic areas

Behind the ears, on the wrist, or in the crook of the arm: these areas, which are not the most well-known spots when it comes to applying perfume, are nevertheless the ones that will retain the scent the most.

Why is this? Because these are pulse points and are therefore the warmest areas of the body, which trap your perfume's scent so that it remains all day long. Coco Chanel famously said that perfume shouldn't only be sprayed onto the neck.

Moisturise your body

Before choosing your perfume, find out what your skin type is. Depending on its pH, some smells will last longer. But as a general rule, a body that is moisturised daily will keep the scent of the perfume much better, because when your skin is dry, it is much less susceptible to being impregnated with scents. But to avoid fragrance confusion, opt for a fragrance-free moisturising balm.

Never leave your home without your pocket-size vial

Pocket perfume is your best friend if you want to smell like perfume all day long. Thanks to its small size, it can fit in any handbag and allows for small fragrance touch-ups at any time of day.
