1. What it is: Milia are small cysts that are caused by trapped keratin that are beneath the surface of the skin. Generally, they primarily affect babies and children and will disappear on their own. However, they can also affect adults and it could be more difficult to get rid of, although they are still totally harmless. For adults, there are several possible causes of milia: long-term sun damage, the use of steroid-containing creams or repeated treatments to the skin such as laser therapy.

How To Get Rid Of The Spots

There are several ways you can remove the spots quicker - you can make a simple scrub using sugar and lemon juice. The sugar is the exfoliating agent and the lemon juice is the antiseptic and antibacterial agent. If this scrub doesn't work then you can try using castor oil, honey, pomegranate, fenugreek leaves, or tea tree oil-based products that will help disinfect the skin.

Of course, there are also some obvious precautions you should take to look after your skin. Don't expose yourself to the sun, don't forget to remove makeup before sleeping and take steam baths to remove impurities from the skin.
