African braids

The wet look
This 'wet look' hairstyle will keep your hair looking good even on a rainy day. To achieve this, apply a glossy wax or gel styling product to the whole length of your hair, styling it towards the back of the face. It's done, it looks great, and it'll hold!
The low ponytail
Ideal for long or medium-length hair, this glossy ponytail is ultra-effective in bringing hair to heel, and limiting the occurence of frizzy hair in humid weather. The trick is to apply a mist of hairspray over all of your hair to create a protective film and shine up the hair.
The bun
The simple high bun, placed right on the top of the head, protects the hair from humidity and can easily be placed under a scarf or an umbrella. Very stylish, it highlights the shape of your head and the oval of your face. Do give it a try, you'll look great!
