The revelation comes from a tweet by a young woman named ‘Francheskahor6,’ asreported by the tabloid The Sun.
‘Taken me 18 years to find out that the weird shoulder buttons on jackets is to hold your bag in place so it doesn’t fall off. Who knew.’
This tweet was liked more than 160,000 times, and has been a real revelation for many fashionistas. Twitter then responded, with one comment saying 'Twitter has taught me more things about life than life itself,' while another claims 'Twitter is basically school but for things that'll actually benefit your life.'
This piece that sits on the shoulders of our coats is in fact actually very useful. This creation is not new, but few people knew that it is supposed to keep their handbag in place. Think about all those years when your heavy bag slipped all the way down your arm and you kept having to pull it back up on the top of your shoulder…
