The £15 dress is a black body-con number and it sold like hotcakes after being spotted on Kate Moss’ younger sister Lottie Moss.
The long-sleeved dress features an all-too-fashionable roll neck with little ear straps on the sides so it can be used to cover the nose and mouth.
The spokesperson for Pretty Little Thing has stated that they have restocked the dress in some sizes but if you don’t get in quick they’re sure to sell out again. The website describes the dress as being perfect for nights out:
This dress is perfect for those nights with the dolls. Featuring a black jersey material with long sleeves, a figure-hugging fit and a mask detail. Style this with strappy heels and simple accessories to complete the look.
The dress was originally made in sizes 4-16 but the range has been reduced to the demand.
Lottie or Charlotte Moss turned heads when she was spotted in the dress last month. The model chose to wear the dress in a rather simple look by pairing it with chunky boots and high pigtails.
PLT’s dress isn’t the first COVID-19 inspired creation out there as Spice Girls costume designer, Dee Izmail, also built a £195 body-con frock that also featured a built-in face mask.
Izmail released the dress as part of a new collection on Etsy. The white ensemble features a dramatic collar which forms over the face and nose like a mask. And, of course, sticking to her signature style, the dress very much screams ‘clubwear’.
The dress was also designed to raise awareness for Kawasaki disease, a condition that causes unexplained inflammation of the blood vessels.
