There’s no denying that Kate Middleton is a style icon. Whilst we’re often left lusting after her designer dresses, she’s no stranger to a high-street piece. Recently, we’ve been big fans of her £15gold-plated earrings and the £59.99green Zara blazer she sported for St. Patrick’s Day.

But thanks to the so-called ‘Kate effect’, whatever she’s seen wearing usually sells out fast. That’s what happened when she wore Boden’s Abercorn Frosted Blue Scallop Cardigan for a Zoom call with NHS heroes in November last year. Luckily for us royal fashion fans though, the cardi is now back in stock!
Where can I buy Kate Middleton’s blue cardigan?
Made from a ‘luxurious blend of merino wool and cotton’, the Abercorn Scallop Cardigan features a ‘scalloped collar and sophisticated gathered sleeves’ for ‘a feminine finish’. It’s a versatile, flattering piece that you can either wear buttoned up like Kate or open over a simple T-shirt or blouse.
You can go for Kate’s exact look by ordering the cardi in pretty baby blue shade ‘Frosted Blue’ or you could mix things up with a Navy, Grey or Azalea (pink) version. Whichever colour you go for, the cardigan is currently available and in stock online in UK sizes 6 to 22 - although it’s likely to sell fast!
Does Kate Middleton’s Boden cardigan get good reviews?
Priced at £75, the cardigan gets mostly positive reviews on Boden’s website, with shoppers praising the quality and soft material, as well as noting that the unusual scallop collar looks great on Zoom calls. However, quite a few people seemed to have had issues with sizing so make sure you check the size guide before ordering.
