What will the job consist in exactly?
Not only do you get to consume infinite amounts of delicious chocolate but you'll obviously be getting paid for it as well! All you will have to do is taste the chocolate, rate and review a selection of different Easter treats.
Some chocolate goodies you can expect to have to sample are the Specially Selected Exquisite Beehive Egg with honeycomb pieces as well as the fan-favourite Giant Dragon Egg.
How does one apply for the job?
The application process is quite simple: candidates must submit a short audition video in which they explain why they should be chosen as the Chief Easter Egg Tasting Officer and offer examples of their favourite Aldi chocolate before emailing it to aldieastertastingofficer@mccann.com. The job posting reads:

Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, Julie Ashfield, explains that:
This year, we have an exciting opportunity for three trusty Easter egg tasters to join us, and pick their favourite products from our 2021 Easter range. Their feedback will also help our buying team create next years' showstoppers, to ensure we're giving our shoppers what they want.
And added:
We've never before had such a wonderful variety of Easter egg shapes, colours, and flavour combinations. We want to hear from people of all ages who simply love chocolate and can help showcase our innovative range.
