Green Pub Tester Duties
This August, Heineken SmartDispense launched Green Pub Guide, which features 55 pubs from all corners of Britain. These pubs have been chosen for being environmentally friendly and for following best practices to reduce their carbon footprint.
The new job opening follows this Green Pub Guide launch. The pub testers’ duties would include visiting pubs listed in the Green Pub Guide, experiencing the food, drinks and overall atmosphere of these chosen pubs and creating videos of their experiences. These videos would be shared on Heineken's channels to generate publicity for these pubs.
A total of 7 people would be selected. These lucky guides would also be given £500 bonus plus all the expenses of their visit, including the expenses of their invited guests, would be paid for by Heineken.
Cornwall Live quoted Chelsey Wroe, head of sustainability at Heineken UK, talked about the new position saying,
We know how passionate Brits are about their locals, so we’re looking for seven individuals with a keen interest in sustainability to take that one step further and enjoy a closer look at the pubs featured in our inaugural Green Pub Guide.
