The brand launched its Halloween themed new spooky burgersearlier, and now it is making the deal even sweeter by offering free burgers to their customers, but there is a bit of a spooky twist to this.
According to Thrillist, Burger king would be rewarding fans with free burgers for catching ‘ghosts’ or ‘spirits’ this October.
Burger King’s ghost hunting challenge
A 'Home of the Ghosts' feature has been added on the Burger King app. It would be available from October 17 through October 31.
The Magnetic Field Sensor, which is already inbuilt in most phone will allow fans to actually detect any ‘ghosts’ or ‘spirits’ around them. If you find any supernatural activity through the app, you would be able to claim your buy-one-get-one free Whooper.
Burger King wants fans to share the free burger with the ‘guest’
As quoted in the report, according to Brand Communications Director Andrea Beer
We at Burger King are excited to put a new twist on our long-standing tradition of surprising our guests around Halloween.
This year, we encourage customers to hunt for ghosts wherever they like to hang out. And if they find one, we’re doubly excited to reward them for sharing their spaces.
