Burger King launches Fiery Nuggets and a brand new drink in latest menu additions

There's no better time than now for fast-food lovers, as Burger King and other fast-food chains have been busy at working updating their menu items to help fans cool off for the summer season.

McDonald's earlier added two new drinks to summer menu, as well as new dipping sauces for their iconic Chicken McNuggets. Now, to make things ever more spicy, as reported by Eat This, Not That, Burger King too has announced the launch of two exciting new menu items for the summer season.

Burger King's new menu items are set to rival that of McDonald's new summer launches. BK is going to be launching two new menu items for a short time only: Fiery McNuggets and a brand new drink, which is a Frozen Fanta with a fun summer twist. Find out all the details here.

Burger King launches Fiery Chicken Nuggets

Burger king's latest chicken offering, Fiery Nuggets, will be a spicy twist on its classic chicken nugget. Full of both flavour and spice, the new menu item is glazed wit cayenne peppers, bird's eye chili, and black pepper.

Chad Brauze, senior director of culinary innovation and sustainability for Burger King North America, said in a statement,

Heat is definitely having a moment, so this felt like the perfect time to introduce the Fiery Nuggets with the spicy glaze we know our guests love.

The new menu item will be available from June 19 to August 17 only.

Burger King's new fun summer drink

Burger King is also launching a fun new drink that captures the spirit of summer both in appearance as well as spice. The brand new drink is Burger King's Frozen Fanta Kickin' Mango. This too has a spicy twist that blends with the classic taste of Fanta and mango.

The new drink is being provided by Burger King for a limited time only, and is available for only $1 at participating restaurants.

If you are enrolled in the Burger King Royal Perks loyalty program, you can even get the new drink for free on July 26, which has historically been one of the hottest days on the year.

Dane Callis, senior brand manager for Fanta North America, said in a statement,

Our Frozen Fanta Kickin' Mango provides an explosion of bold mango citrus chili flavors that offer a refreshing, tongue-tingling sensation with a spicy finish that passes the hot grill summer vibe check.

So if you want to try out the spicy new menu items, get to the nearest Burger King asap!
