A grapefruit boost to aid digestion
Ingredients:
- 1 white grapefruit, peeled (also works with a pomelo)
- 1 granny smith apple, cored
- 2 handfuls of kale
- 5 mint leaves
Method:
Blend all ingredients in a blender with 100 ml of filtered water until smooth. Strain the mixture through a sieve, pressing well with a wooden or rubber spoon.
Avocado to regulate blood sugar
Ingredients:
- 1 pitted and peeled avocado
- Juice of half a lime
- 2 sprigs of parsley
- 1 granny smith apple, cored
- 5 mint leaves
- ½ cucumber
- 1 small bunch of deseeded white grapes
Method:
Blend all ingredients in a blender with 300 ml of filtered water.
Juice for the brain: anti-water retention and full of vitamins
- 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- 1 granny smith apple, cored
- ½ cucumber
- 4 sprigs of parsley
The method of preparation is the same as for the grapefruit boost smoothie.
Detox juices: how to best use them to get a flat stomach?
The key is consistency. To take full advantage of the benefits of these detox smoothies, consume them in the form of a 3 to 5-day treatment, alternating them according to the time of day: the ‘grapefruit boost’ is ideal at breakfast, the avocado smoothie goes with a healthy and balanced lunch, and the ‘brain juice’ will do your body and mind good at around 5 pm. Also, remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day. In addition, celery juice is also a great ally for your flat stomach goal!
