Morrisons have recalled a batch of their own-brand Morrisons Choco Crackles cereal because some packs contain pieces of plastic which could be swallowed. The recall affects 375g packs of Morrisons Choco Crackles with a Best Before End date of 11/2021 only.
Meanwhile, Asda have recalled a single batch of one of their frozen chicken products after discovering that it may containSalmonella. Packs of Asda 2 Original Chicken Chargrills with the best before date of 05 September 2022 and the batch code 31120953 are being recalled by the supermarket.
Allergy alerts
Heron Foods is recalling two types of Milka bar because the allergy information was not marked in English. The 100g Milka Daim Bar (best before 30 October 2021) and the 100g Milka Yoghurt Bar (best before 01 February 2022) both contain Gluten(wheat), Milk, Nuts (almond, hazelnut) and Soya. If you’re allergic to any of these ingredients, you shouldn’t eat these bars and instead return them for a refund.
Jim Jams Spreads, which are sold in Asda, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons, Holland & Barrett, Ocado and Tesco, have recalled two of their vegan chocolate spreads after discovering they may contain low levels of skimmed milk powder. This makes them dangerous for anyone with a milk allergy. This affects all date codes of 330g JimJams Dark Hazelnut Choc Spread (Vegan) and JimJams Dark Chocolate Orange Spread (Vegan).
