Nutricia has recalled two baby muesli products after it was discovered that some packs contain pieces of apple stalks, which are a choking hazard. The recall affects specific batches. You can see if your pack is affected by checking the Best Before Date (BBD) on the back of the pack, below the barcode.

Which products are affected by the recall?
The recall affects two different products. The first is 330g packs of Cow & Gate My First Muesli 10+ months with the Best Before dates of 20.12.21 and 04.01.22. The second is 275g packs of Aptamil Oats, Raisin & Apple Bircher Muesli 10+ months with the Best Before date 16.01.22.
If you have bought either of these products, you should not feed them to your baby due to the potential choking hazard. Instead, you can return the products to the shop where you bought them for a full refund. Don’t worry if you haven’t kept the receipt as this is not required for the refund.

Why do food products get recalled?
Products get recalled when a safety risk is discovered. Customers are advised not to consume the product. Instead, they are invited to return it to stores for a full refund.
