Salad and raw vegetables
Sorry people, even if you’re on a diet, eating salad on a diet night is just not the right way to do it. While they are good, usually salads or raw vegetables are hard to digest and may leave you feeling sluggish or bloated. And that’s probably not what you want to feel like under the sheets. These vegetables can leave you bloated and you may fart more than usual. Oops! Not the sound that you want to hear. Additionally, garlic and beans are a big no-no too. Garlic for the smell of course, and beans for gas.
Spicy food
Spicy food causes acid reflux. It may be a useful way to trigger labour but it sure doesn’t help when it comes to sex. Even if you love spicy food and can handle it, it may still trigger your stomach. So instead of being fiery in bed, you may end up being fiery in the washroom or make multiple trips to it.
Chewing gum or mints
Mints may be your go-to move before starting the scene but it may not be the right move. Chewing something without swallowing creates an influx of air in your stomach and can build wind in your stomach. Meaning, you’ll be burping or farting more than ever.
Cheese
A date night with wine and cheese may sound ideal but the potential stomach problem it comes with is definitely not ideal. Especially mozzarella, cottage cheese and ricotta are the ones you should steer clear of.
