It has been a great week for KFC fans, as the fast-food company has finally obliged one of the demands that many of its fans have had for years: the return of KFC's Twister Wraps.

As reported by Today, finally, after almost a decade of its introduction to fans in 2014, KFC is bringing back the discontinued menu item once again, and it is testing out new versions of the KFC Twister Wrap in select restaurants in Atlanta.
As per KFC’s press release, there have been over 42,500 mentions of KFC wraps by fans on Twitter in the last 2 years alone.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Wrap
KFC announced on October 3 that it would be testing three new variants of the wraps. These have been named Kentucky Fried Chicken Wraps. KFC has already released the new versions of the classic menu item in select KFC restaurants in Atlanta.
These new wraps are starting at only $3 each or in a two-wrap combo. The new wraps are:
- The Classic Chicken Wrap, with Extra Crispy™ Tender, crunchy pickles, and creamy mayo, wrapped in a warm tortilla.
- The Mac & Cheese Chicken Wrap where an Extra Crispy™ Tender is topped with rich and gooey KFC's cheddar mac & cheese and sprinkled with a three-cheese blend.
- The Spicy Slaw Chicken Wrap which has an Extra Crispy™ Tender with coleslaw, spicy sauce and crispy pickles.
The wraps are back due to popular demand
It was clear to the company that the KFC Twister was one of the most-awaited menu items for fans, and they wanted to honour their fans' wishes.
The announcement quotes Chef Chris Scott, Head Chef, KFC U.S. as saying,
With our new wraps, our fans in Atlanta are bound to experience a burst of finger lickin' good flavor with every bite, whether it be from the crunch of our Extra Crispy™ Tenders, the bold heat from our spicy sauce or the richness of our cheesy mac & cheese.
We're excited to hear the feedback on these new flavor combinations from our Atlanta customers!
