Imagine taking a bite of your favourite KFC item, only to end up with a mouthful of something that smells as disgusting as poo! Nightmarish as it sounds, it happened to one unfortunate KFC customer.
As reported by Devon Live, a KFC customer from Torquay had the horrifying experience on February 2.

Grandmother has a horrifying realisation about her KFC meal
Katie McAllister, along with her mum and daughter visited a KFC restaurant and ordered the popcorn chicken buckets with chips for lunch. As her mum bit into her fries, she immediately spat out the food because it tasted so terrible.
When McAllister smelt the fries, she nearly threw up because it smelt so disgusting.
McAllister recounted the incident saying,
We got a snack box with popcorn chicken and chips. We sat down to eat it and my mum picked up what looked like a chip. She thought it looked a bit too crispy for my daughter so my mum ate it.
When she put it in her mouth, she said she just knew that it was not right and it was absolutely vile so she spat it out and put it on the coffee lid of the plastic cup and asked me to smell it.
When I smelled it, I nearly actually threw up, it was absolutely disgusting.

KFC’s reaction to the incident
The customer reported the terrible food to the restaurant, and the staff agreed that the fries did smell gross. The assistant manager assured the customers that the chip would be sent away for testing. However, no update on the results have yet been received.
As per the upset customer,
My daughter is 19 months so that's why I was more upset as well because it's a snack bucket for children. It is absolutely disgusting that place anyway. It is vile, I will never be eating there again.
KFC claims that it has refunded the customer for the meal. A spokesperson for KFC stated,
We’re sorry to hear this guest was put off their meal, that’s not what we want. Our Torquay restaurant recently achieved a 5* food hygiene rating, so we were surprised to see this and offered a full refund. We have not had any similar complaints but we always encourage our fans to get in touch when things don’t go to plan.
