While ordering your fast-food from your favourite chain, one would usually expect to find only what you ordered. While every now and then, a fast-food restaurant might serve you the wrong order, it is quite another matter altogether to get an extra portion of a nasty surprise along with your food.

As reported by Daily Mail,a KFC diner from Queensland, Hannah Stephens found something way more than she could have ever bargained for inside her KFC order: her fries came with an extra helping of a fried insect, almost as wide as the chips themselves.
The nasty surprise inside the KFC order
Ms Stephens took to a 'Tea time' Facebook group to share photos of her disgusting find. The photos show an insect almost as wide as the potato chip wedged in the food.
The diner complained to the company about her nasty find, and the company got back to her offering her a discount. But the disgusted diner was not so easily assuaged, commenting on her post,
Lol KFC gave me a $20 discount... I'm sorry but $20 doesn't make up for that sh*t

People reading her post and looking at her photos were similarly horrified and disgusted.
One person writes in their comment,
I would have been crying and throwing up
Another added a disgusting theory,
The fact that you’ve eaten half the box means there’s a fair chance you’ve eaten other bugs
As per Daily Mail, based on the photos, the insect seems to be a damsel bug, which are found in trees and crops.
Earlier, videos of a KFC restaurant in Australia where staff licked prepared food and violated all sorts of health and sanitation codes had already caused a furore among diners.
As per Daily Star, the company is currently investigating the matter. One spokesperson stated,
We’re sorry our customer had this experience and are trying to make contact to discuss the matter further
