As reported by Yahoo Finance,KFC U.S. is going to have a major menu shake-up, and will be removing a whole assortment of fan-favourite items including Kentucky Fried Chicken wings, popcorn chicken and a lot more. Here are all the details.

KFC axes items as it aims to simplify its menu
The items being removed from the KFC menu are: Kentucky Fried Chicken wings, popcorn chicken, Nashville Hot sauce, strawberry lemonade, and chocolate chip cookies. Of course, KFC will hold on to its trademarked original Colonel Sanders recipe.
The reason for these sweeping changes by KFC is that the brand is trying to implement ‘a menu simplification,’ that would provide the company more time for innovation. KFC U.S. Director Brittany Wilson told Yahoo Finance,

The implications of axing by KFC
The new changes will be rolled out by KFC over the next couple of months. As per the report, KFC franchises where changes are underway, are already experiencing benefits from the brand’s simplified menu, by saving time on packaging, as well as on drive-thru orders.
Earlier this month, KFC also obliged one of the demands that many of its fans have had for years: the return of KFC Wraps.
KFC brought back Kentucky Fried Chicken Wraps across all its restaurants nationwide starting on February 6, with super pricing of two KFC Wraps for just $5.
