As reported by Evening Standard, KFC has taken over The Old Suffolk Punch in Hammersmith, and for a limited time, transformed it into a KFC pub. For this occasion, the pub has been renamed The Colonel’s Arms, in a direct reference to KFC’s Colonel Sanders.
Watch the World Cup at the KFC pub
The special launch comes right in time for the Football World Cup. Former England midfielder Jimmy Bullard, who is the owner of the host bar, The Old Suffolk Punch, is quoted as saying,
It’s class when the three things I love — football, fried chicken and the pub — come together.
What a blinder to be asked by the absolute legends at KFC to be the official landlord for KFC Delivery’s first-ever pub, The Colonel’s Arms.
The only pub where you can get your KFC delivered straight to your table and the perfect spot to enjoy pints and football with your mates.
The pub is offering visitors a KFC Delivery bell, good beer and free gravy. Fans are being promised a football-watching experience they would not forget.
Merchandise launches to mark the occasion
KFC also launched Colonel’s Arms Bar Kit on this special occasion. The kit contains a limited-edition pint glass, two coasters, a bottle opener, as well as a bar mat, and it is available nationwide on the KFC Merch Store.
Fans can buy tickets to the exciting football and KFC event on Eventbrite, and each ticket comes with a free KFC delivery and a drink. The KFC pub is open from November 25- 1 December.
