Hack for the perfect fried egg
Tiktoker @mealsandmunchies who shares recipes, food hacks and health content, shared a hack for a easy way to flip fried eggs. The video has now been viewed millions of times and has more than 100k likes.
The video is captioned ‘Egg flip hack’
In the video, the creator breaks two eggs onto a skillet and fries them as per usual. When they are sufficiently done on the first side, instead of using a spatula or some other method, the cook uses a genius hack instead.
She uses the lid of the skillet, sliding the fried eggs smoothly onto the lid from the skillet. Thenshe turns the skillet upside down, and places it on top of the lid. All that’s left to do then is to turn the skillet with the lid upright. The eggs land back on the skillet on the side that needs to be done.
The fried eggs are thus flipped easily keeping the yolks intact and with no mess.
