The worst products according to them
The group of McDonald’s employees, who agreed to participate in this amusing interview, shared their ‘unfiltered’ opinions on certain products.
So, let’s start with the Filet-O-Fish. The famous fish sandwich apparently owes its huge success, not just to the ingredients, but to how easy it is to chew.
Well-hidden calories?
Moving on to the products that are supposed to be healthier, let’s have a look at the salads:
‘I'm not a fan of tons of vegetables, and the caloric count in the items is astronomical,’ admitted one employee outright.
In other words, you should almost always go for a burger if you’re taking into account the number of calories… To help you with this, here is a list of items with fewer calories in them:
- Cheeseburger: 301 calories
- McChicken sandwich: 388 calories
- Six McNuggets: 259 calories
Other options that didn’t really appeal to employees who were questioned were products on the ‘Signature' menus which contain grilled chicken. In order to get the ‘grilled effect’, the chicken is apparently smothered in margarine first.
To conclude, theseMcDonald’s employees, who should consider going into the food critic business, recommend that fans of the fast-food chain always go for the ‘classic' and more ‘traditional' items on the menu.
It also turns out that there could be a few very unpleasant surprises in store on the new ‘à la carte’ menus, so try to avoid looking disappointed!
Good luck!
