McDonald's bringing back this 90s fan-favourite item in 2023

McDonald’s has made a slew of very popular additions to its menu in the last couple of weeks, while some other menu items have had to go.

McDonald’s permanent menu items are all very popular but many McDonald’s fans have a special place in their hearts reserved only for their favourite menu-items that are sold for a limited time only. Sometimes the waiting period between the item being discontinued and the re-launch can be painfully long for fans.

As reported by Eat This, Not That!, one special 90s menu items that the brand has introduced since the end of last year in November 2022 is still available for fans in 2023: the McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches.

These were all the rage in the 90s before they were sadly discontinued and now it is available in select McDonald’s across the country.

McDonald’s breakfast bagels

As reported by Chewboom, here’s what has been in store for McDonald’s breakfast bagels in its latest avatar when it was first re-launched last year in 2022,

• Steak, Egg & Cheese Bagel: A bagel freshly toasted with real butter that holds a tender, juicy steak patty, a fluffy folded egg, two slices of melty American cheese and savory grilled onions.
• Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel: A toasted bagel with butter, thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon, a fluffy folded egg, and two slices of melty American cheese.
• Sausage, Egg & Cheese bagel: A freshly toasted and buttered bagel with a pork sausage patty, a fluffy folded egg and two slices of American cheese.

Availability of the McDonald’s breakfast bagels

This fan-favourite breakfast item is unfortunately not available for all McDonald’s fans to enjoy. As per the report, these have been introduced in select restaurants in Columbus, Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City, and other New England areas.

It remains to be seen if the brand ends up re-introducing them to other stores across the country this year in 2023.
